A two-time European Championships gold medalist, Beterbiev (18-0) made his pro debut in 2013. Primarily fighting in Canada, Beterbiev won the WBA-NABA light-heavyweight title in 2014. In his last fight in June, Beterbiev beat Joe Smith Jr. to win the WBO title.

All of Beterbiev’s wins have come via knockout. With a potential bout against WBA champion Dmitry Bivol on the line, Beterbiev is focused on the task at hand.
