The bye weeks take place from Week 6 to Week 14, with all 32 teams getting a chance to rest up for the following week. Week 7 grants the most byes for the season with six, while only two teams get Weeks 8, 11 and 12 off.

The Cowboys (5-1) are coming off of a close 35-29 OT win over the Patriots in Week 6. With around 23 million tuning into the Sunday afternoon matchup, it was the most watched mid-afternoon game on CBS since 2015. This was also their fifth win in a row, solidifying themselves as strong Super Bowl contenders.
