How to subscribe to Apple TV+
After the service launches on November 1, users can subscribe to the streamer by visiting tv.apple.com and sign in with their Apple ID. The site allows users to sign in now, but they are not able to subscribe yet.
People who already have the Apple TV app on their devices will also be given the opportunity to subscribe through that by using their Apple ID
How much does Apple TV+ cost?
The service costs $4.99 a month for subscribers after a seven-day free trial. Family sharing allows up to six people to use the same subscription for the service.
There are a number of ways that viewers who want to watch content like The Morning Show, See and Oprah’s Book Club for free.
For example, Apple is giving anyone who buys an iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Mac or iPod Touch a year of free Apple TV+. As revealed in their first press release about the service, this includes “both new and refurbished models,” which start at around $129.
The company will be offering studentsApple TV+ for free. If you are a student who has signed up for the $4.99 a month Apple Music deal, you will get the new streaming service for free at no additional cost.
What do Apple TV+ subscribers get?
From the November 1 launch, the following shows will be available to view on the streaming service:
The Morning Show starring Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon and Steve CarellSee, a post-apocalyptic drama starring Jason MomoaDickinson, a period comedy starring Hailee Steinfeld as Emily DickinsonFor All Mankind, an alternate history space race dramaHelpsters, a Sesame Street spin-offGhostwriter, a kid’s show featuring a mystery-solving ghostSnoopy in Space, an series of animated Peanuts shortsOprah’s Book Club, featuring Winfrey interviewing authorsThe Elephant Queen, a nature documentary film
Most of the eight series will have their first three episodes released on November 1, with the rest of the shows coming weekly on Fridays after that.
More shows are also coming soon, with M. Night Shyamalan series Servant coming on November 28 and Octavia Spencer and Aaron Paul drama Truth Be Told arriving on December 6.
