Florida State is followed in the top five by Auburn, Mississippi and Mississippi State are tied for No. 3 and then Baylor. This is Mississippi State’s highest ranking in the poll’s history.
After losses, Alabama falls to No.7, Oklahoma to No. 11, Oregon to No. 12, Texas A&M to No. 13 and UCLA to No. 18.
New members of the poll include Arizona, off to it’s best start since 1998, at No. 10, Arizona State at No. 20, Georgia Tech with its first ranking since Nov. 20, 2011, at No. 22 and Utah at No. 24 is ranked for the first time since Dec. 5, 2010.
