Brown has also been caught in a bit of a pickle with regard to Lanning himself. The Steelers wideout said that he and Lanning had spoken about the incident and were on friendly terms.
When asked about it, Lanning said the conversation never took place.
The incident is at least a positive for Lanning, who was trying to make a tackle on Brown who had already made several Browns players miss. He never actually got the opportunity to wrap up on Brown, which might of been the best thing for Lanning.
Even if it meant getting kicked in the face.
