Consider Emilia Vermette’s appearance in the Stanley Cup fashionably late. Although she wasn’t born in time to see him score two game-winning goals during the Stanley Cup Final, mom Karen gave birth to Emilia just in time for her dad’s day with the Cup over the weekend.

You might even say that late but timely arrivals are kind of the Vermette family’s thing. The Blackhawks acquired Antoine in February after Patrick Kane broke his collarbone, and he went on to be a big part of their third Stanley Cup in six years.
