Angry Adrian Peterson Yells At Sean Payton Gives Him The Death Stare

A seemingly unhappy Peterson appeared to yell at Sean Payton and give him a death stare late in the first half:

This year marks Peterson’s first season with the Saints, after he played his entire career with the Vikings.

UPDATE: Saints coach Sean Payton denied the exchange was heated.

“No," he told reporters after the game. “Listen, I’d tell you if we were in a heated exchange, so why don’t you ask him? He was into it, we were all into it, there was none that I can recall. And I’m being honest.”

Peterson took to Twitter to share what he said to Payton:

Peterson finished with 18 yards on six carries and no touchdowns.
