A Reddit user replied to the photo of the boxes upside down and said: “Me and a coworker were just talking about doing this yesterday, but yeah I’m with it!”
The thread also came up with new names for the movement, with one Reddit user commenting “Down with Frowns,” while another suggested, “Delivering Frowns.”
A photo of the upside-down boxes was shared to Twitter by journalist Dave Lee, who said: “Here’s hoping DoorDash drivers never try this.”
President Joe Biden has expressed his support for the workers unionizing and said on Twitter in March: “Workers in Alabama—and all across America—are voting on whether to organize a union in their workplace. It’s a vitally important choice—one that should be made without intimidation or threats by employers. Every worker should have a free and fair choice to join a union.”
