Law enforcement sources told Fox 5 New York that Jordan Hart, the son of former Islander Gary Hart, was arrested on Long Island Tuesday morning by the DEA’s New York drug enforcement task force. Hart, according to the report, is suspected of supplying Boogaard with the prescription drugs that played a part in his death. Boogaard, 28, played for the Rangers at the time of his death. He’d entered the league’s substance abuse program in 2009 and, according to his father, received more than 100 prescriptions from NHL team doctors....

Philadelphia Health Commissioner Thomas Farley warned that the city may see between 700 and 1,400 coronavirus deaths by the end of the year. He added that Philadelphia is experiencing its highest daily case counts since early in the pandemic. The city reported 645 new cases on Monday and 2,564 since this past Friday.
